Welcoming Chickens on the Farm – Faith Family & Farming

We finally did it. We got chickens yesterday. Five lovely ladies. The children named them: Chocolate Chip, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Black Sam, and Crazy Josephine. Lol! These lovely ladies will be our egg source, hopefully for times to come.

We purchased the ladies from a local young business owner, great experience. Cinnamon was very weak, the owner thought it was because she was cold. But today she had gotten weaker and couldn’t stay standing. So we took her back and the owner gave us 4 chicks instead. The chicks are 2 months old. So we will be using the he….
