Welcoming Chickens on the Farm – Faith Family & Farming

We finally did it. We got chickens yesterday. Five lovely ladies. The children named them: Chocolate Chip, Vanilla, Cinnamon, Black Sam, and Crazy Josephine. Lol! These lovely ladies will be our egg source, hopefully for times to come.

We purchased the ladies from a local young business owner, great experience. Cinnamon was very weak, the owner thought it was because she was cold. Our homestead is made up of a lot of things but my main love are the chickens. I got my first flock about 10 years ago when we lived in TN.
