IMPROVING soil for vegetable gardening is easy. As long as you remember to put back what you take out, your vegetable garden will be productive and provide you with plenty of fresh and delicious produce.

Most of us would like to grow bigger, better and healthier fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, our farmlands this time are often highly weathered and impoverished in plant nutrients, organic matter and water retentive capacity. The result? We have vegetables that are not always as good as we often like them to be.
