Bringing back the veggie patch – Grow Cook Live

In the beginning the was grass, and under that grass was crap soil. This thin layer of top soil was brooding over the clay subsoil, and nothing did grow there. And Brad said let there be a veggie patch… and here the journey began.

The following is a quick evolution of my veggie patch.

This corner of our block is covered in shade during winter and receives full sun during summer. Previously it had a Banksia tree in the corner and kids swing set.
