There is something so satisfying about eating something that you grew for yourself.
This morning, I scrambled our own fresh eggs with a little bit of queso, laid them on a toasted tortilla, and sprinkled jalepenos, tomatoes, onions, and garden-fresh cilantro on top. The rich orange yolks tasted so much better than any store-bought egg could dream, and their shells are three times as hard. Our free range chickens are happy and healthy, and it shows.
