For a few years now I’ve been toying with the idea of a tiny home.  The layouts and options now are vast and it no longer means a loft, etc.  I’d dearly love to have one at some point, but I’m not ready to be that settled.  Even though they are usually built on a trailer, tiny homes are a real mission to move.

An rv is something that seems to suit what I want to do.  I don’t even want to do great distances.  If that’s in the cards, great.  But basically I want to explore…and there is more than a lifetime’s worth in Ontario and Quebec, the next province. As an historian, I plan to take full advantage of our relaxed travels to explore some of the history of this beautiful country.

I have a wonderful little three year old mini Maltese and he and I are going to travel, take our time, see the sites, enjoy nature.  And because of my self employment, I can work anywhere, so we’ll be free to plan or not plan, tootle around wherever we want. When the wee guy and I are ready to get this adventure going, I’ll be getting a golden retriever for safety on the road.  She will be a welcome part of the little family……
