I have been saving eggshells for a couple of months now. My partner and I eat eggs frequently. I rinse them out and leave them to dry for a day, then I put them in this jar and crush them up. Later I will use them to add nutrients to the soil. Calcium is necessary for plant cell wall growth, so adding crushed eggshells to the garden is a good way to add extra calcium back into the soil.
