Every time I take my goat on a walk down an alley or to an East Side bar there will be a surge of attention from strangers and animals of all types. No amount of pretension can retain someone from pulling themselves off the phone and doing a double take when they witness an “exotic” animal in a public or private place. People’s reactions are usually a result of their recent internet browsing and/or experience with farm life as a child.
