When I said I wanted to make a composting bin I was met with funny looks and exclamations of “you’re going to keep…. shit… where?!”. No, no, no, no, no, no… well, yes. And outside. But I’m not talking cow poop here. I’m talking vermiculture. Vermiculture, in my opinion, means recycling worm farm. I’m going to give my trash to worms and they’re going to eat it. Then they will produce castings, or poop. This poop is solid gold my friends. Not literally but as far as anything growing is concerned it is the best food source around. I’m going to give it to the plants in my garden, the cacti living in my bedroom, and the sad yellow patches in the yard from the puppy brigade making snow cones all winter. And they shall grow, oh are they gonna grow.
