Playing in the Mud
I’m learning to work outside in a rainy climate, but there are still some things I won’t do. For instance, I don’t dig or fork over garden beds when it’s raining because we want the soil structure to be light and fluffy, and turning over mud would be counterproductive. However, digging muddy tree basins isn’t a problem. So, I continued preparing for nut trees by digging four more basins, all of them for American hazelnuts.
