We’ve actually got some American Indian ancestors and they may well have eaten these seasonally and I’m very happy to report that they are easy to grow 🙂
A few years ago I popped some roots in the Thermomix and cooked them up with some stock, added cream, salt and pepper at the end. My gourmand husband said the soup was so good it belonged in a Michelin star restaurant! Yum!
