Studies have found that organic produce and growing is better during a drought, which may help lower the cost of organic food in the long-run. In an analysis of 100 studies at the University of California, it was found that organic farming created a mix of biodiversity in the soil and the environment around it, that was nearly impossible for synthetic chemicals to mimic.
