TRASH CAN LIDS PROJECT

The winter of 2013-4 I found out that rabbit poop in trash cans, open to the elements, turns into big poopsicles and doesn’t thaw for many weeks.

Now that I have a little band saw, scrap wood from the studio build, and some leftover spray paint, I can make some lids.

I wanted lids which would:

  • keep out rain and snow
  • be heavy enough to not flip off in a decent blow
  • be easy to remove
  • stays on even when the can is slightly oval

Last week, on the last warm day, I made two.

Yeppers, looks good.
